Qualifications

We are in the process of setting up Instructor and Assessors courses, more information will be distributed to group heads once it is available.

Once the Technical Committee has formally met a sub-committee will be formed for coaching which will finalise the procedure for Assessor and Instructor qualifications.

The plan was for instructors to enrol on the course, for the fee of £30 which would cover all materials for the candidates and attendance at a training session. Once the instructor had attended the course, they would be given six months to prepare their necessary paperwork and documentary evidence before being assessed by a TKGB assessor at their own Dojo, at an additional cost of £25. The qualification would then be valid for a period of three years.

Certification

We currently offer A3 Dan grade certificates, A4 Kyu grade certificates, A4 Sen grade certificates and A4 Affiliation certificates to our member groups.

Costs
A3 certificates: 2 for £10.00 (£5.00 each), 5 for £22.50 (£4.50 each), 10 for £40.00 (£4.00 each)
A4 certificates: 5 for £5.00 (£1.00 each), 10 for £9.00 (£0.90 each), 25 for £20.00 (£0.80 each)
