Services that the TKGB Offer
What can the TKGB offer you?
Traditional Karate Great Britain offers the membership a range of modular services, which can be called upon to support your activities. None of these services is mandatory, however, we advise all of our member groups and associations to consider their worth in helping to keep authentic traditional karate safe and proficient, for all participants.
Available services
- Membership and Member-to-member insurance using TL Risk Solutions for a maximum of £2.50 per person.
- Membership only for people wanting other services, but not requiring insurance, at £1 per person.
- Zero affiliation fee for groups
- Instructors PI insurance from £70 per year for £2m.
- Special event insurance from £31.25 for £1m, per event.
- Enhanced CRB Checks from £41 in England/Wales and £37 in Scotland.
- A3 Dan grade certificates on high quality paper at a maximum of £5 each, minimum order of 2.
- A4 Kyu grade certificates on high quality paper at a maximum of £1 each, minimum order of 5.
- A4 Sen grade certificates on high quality paper at a maximum of £1 each, minimum order of 5.
- A4 General Merit certificates on high quality paper at a maximum of £1 each, minimum order of 5.
- Free affiliation certificate on joining a group, additional/replacement affiliation certificates are £2 each.

- Instructors Course Enrolment Fee £30, includes pack to work through
- Instructors Course Assessment £25, includes certificate if successful
- Physical Dan grading £50, includes certificate if successful
- Non-Physical Dan promotion £20, includes certificate if successful
- TKGB gi badges, tracksuits, polo shirts etc Cost pending.

Payment is accepted either by cheque or Paypal within 7 days of the invoice being sent. As PayPal charge for transactions being received, there is surcharging added on for PayPal payments. These are +3.4% +20p per payment. Invoices will include the price for paying by cheque and the price for paying by PayPal - groups are free to use which of these services for paying they prefer.
